ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Madhav Nalapat is a professor of geopolitics at the Manipal University in India. He has been visiting China regularly since 1999, informally meeting party, governmental and military officials to understand the psychological and substantive obstacles to closer ties. He has written extensively on subjects such as nuclear policy and counter-terrorism.
