Absolutely, argues Stein Kuhnle, who will explain how policymakers in China can look to the Nordic system as they strive to combine social equity and economic growth while maintaining social stability. Stein Kuhnle is a Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Bergen, Norway, and Professor of Comparative Social Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany. He has been a visiting fellow/professor at Australian National University, European University Institute, University of Mannheim, University of California, Berkeley, The Brookings Institution, and The London School of Economics. His most recent article, *Turning Point for the European Social Model?* was published in the American journal of contemporary affairs, Current History, in March 2010.
