ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Orville Schell is the Arthur Ross Director of the Center on U.S.-China Relations at the Asia Society in New York. A former Dean of the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, Schell covered the war in Indochina for magazines such as the Atlantic Monthly and the New Republic and has written 14 books, 9 of them about China.
